Your Privacy is Our Priority
Irish Wills Registry is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your data in compliance with GDPR and Irish data protection laws.
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, address, phone number, date of birth, will documents, payment information, and communication records. We also collect usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction patterns.
We use your information to: provide will registration services, match you with solicitors, process payments, send important notifications, improve our services, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
We implement bank-level 256-bit SSL encryption, store data in secure Irish-based data centers, conduct regular security audits, maintain ISO 27001 certification, and comply with GDPR regulations. All will documents are encrypted at rest and in transit.
We share your information only with: assigned solicitors (limited to case-relevant data), payment processors (for transaction processing), service providers (under strict confidentiality agreements), and legal authorities (when required by law). We never share data for marketing purposes.
You have the right to: access your personal data, request corrections, delete your account data (while preserving legal records), restrict processing, object to certain uses, data portability, and withdraw consent. Contact privacy@eirewills.com to exercise your rights.
We use essential cookies for authentication and security, functional cookies to remember your preferences, and analytics cookies to improve our service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your data is stored exclusively in Irish data centers within the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU except when required for payment processing, which is done through EU-approved providers with adequate safeguards.
Our Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email and by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
